Is coaching the right path for me?

Becoming a coach is a life-changing decision.

It sounds simple (which is why it’s so popular): you get to work with people and help them grow and learn every day. You set your own schedule, work within your own values and travel. But there is a lot more that goes into coaching than that.

In fact, coaching is not as outward-facing as people think. Coaching is not just about gaining the core skills and competencies required to serve others. It’s about prioritizing the deep, inner work that it takes to truly hold space for another human to grow and transform.

Maybe you’ve been told before that you should be a coach because you’re good with people. That you give excellent advice.

But you’ve been discouraged from coaching because you keep hearing how “oversaturated” it is.

But none of that actually matters as much as you may think.

Many people who explore coaching don’t take the first step because they are afraid of not being “good enough”. They don’t realize that even the most successful coaches in the world don’t start off with a thriving coaching business.

The most extraordinary coaches first have an unwavering desire to impact those they love and serve.

It goes beyond just building a coaching practice… their purpose runs much deeper than that.

Coaching isn’t only a destination - it can be a means to an end. Some find their life’s work in coaching and working directly with clients. Others integrate the coaching skills they’ve cultivated to change their home, workplace, and communities.

Coaching is the vehicle that allows you to step into your life’s work. Whether that’s by serving your family, friends, community, or clients. It creates fulfillment in your life by giving you a deep sense of purpose.  A quality coaching program allows you to lean into a process and framework to guide yourself and others to freedom.

Anyone can learn to become a coach with the right skills IF they are willing to lean in and do the work on themselves.

Coaching isn’t just something you do - it’s someone you become. The coaching skills come with practice and training, but the journey of continuous growth, self-discovery, and exploration is something you must be committed to.

And that’s what sets you apart from how many other coaches there are… whether it’s 10 or 10 million.

Being an extraordinary coach is not about how many followers you have, or how much money you can make. It’s not even just about how talented or skillful you are. Those things are secondary.

The Mind Rebel™ Method emphasizes the essence of real, impactful coaching: living a deeply examined life, so you can hold sacred space for others to do the same.

Many of my students are teachers, wives, mothers, practitioners, business owners who use the Mind Rebel™ Method to transform their own world and live more authentic and meaningful lives so they can deeply impact the lives of those they love and serve.

Coaching could be right for you if you feel a deep calling on your life to impact others - even if you aren’t sure what that quite looks like yet. Many people feel a calling that they’ve been hanging up or ignoring for too long. Coaching is the right path if you are ready to lean into the deep knowing that tells you you are meant for more.

The Mind Rebel™ Academy (MRA) is intentionally designed two-fold to guide your discovery process as a new coach. Part 1 of the MRA's coach training series is designed to guide you inward to do your own internal work.  The Mind Rebel™ Method gives you a roadmap to powerfully and magnetically close the gap from where you are today to where you desire to be.

Part 2 of the coach training series is where you marry that deep inner work with world-class coaching skills and competencies.  These are the two ingredients in becoming a successful and extraordinary coach.

Perhaps it’s a paradigm shift to think of yourself into your life’s work as a coach. It certainly was for many people, like MRA student Serena. Serena didn’t see herself as a coach but is now building a coaching practice and pursuing a lifelong passion to serve her community with her best friend. Read more about Serena’s story here.
